and employers better communicate skills in the changing world of work.

We are a product-excellence-first company and do not release a product that is merely good. Rather, we keep designing and developing until our product is truly amazing and inspirational. When a new team member joins the product team, we ensure they care about every detail, acting as a craftsman to build something that represents our culture of passionate-product-perfectionists.

Profit is good

While our platform is free to consumers, we also have an amazing business model. We monetize through a freemium model to employers as they move from non-impactful, costly and time-consuming job ads to skill communities to connect with skilled people. We strive to become profitable early while we build a long-term, enduring company that returns for shareholders and the users we serve.

Going digital to help everyone

Rick Devine, the Founder of Talentsky, made his name as a go-to recruiter in the early days of the Silicon Valley. He built a reputation as a counselor, not a pitchman, and recruited many high profile executives, including Tim Cook to Apple.

In 2015, Rick saw the global skills gap crisis emerge as the defining challenge of the 21st century workplace - attracting the attention of government and business. He understood that on a much broader scale this was a consequence of the same lack of visibility and insight that challenged the executives he counseled.

To help everyone, Rick recognized the need for a new platform for employers and people based upon a universal language of work and skills. This platform would provide employers a tool to communicate work and skills needed in real-time while people would be able to post their validated skills as they use them.

And Talentsky was born.
